You can rename potplayermini642.exe back to potplayermini64.exe (else it might conflict with update), and simply set the Mixer value accordingly.

I am using All Player V2.X and when I try and play a particular .avi movie, no sound plays and a window says you need the AC3 Audio (Dolby) codex. It offers a website, but the site will not open. I then downloaded GSpot and ran the movie through it and it diagnosed saying:
Audio Format:
Code: 0x2000
Name: WAVE_FORMAT_AC3
Vendor: Dolby Laboratories, Inc
Gspot was unable to find an audio codec which will decompress this format. DirectShow was also able to find a codec to render it - the sound for this media clip should work fine. See the DirectShow Render details for more info.
The DirectShow Render details said:
DirectShow partially succeeded to play file. The actual text of the error or warning is:
0x00040242: VFW_S_PARTIAL_RENDER - Some of the streams in this movie are in an unsupported format.
Further, it said the missing codec was ac3 (0x2000) Dolby Laboritories Ltd. Then I managed to find this under a Google search, but again the links went to dead sites. I'm a little computer illerate when we get to this level, so can someone PLEASE give me a link to this codec, I have been messing with this all day and its driving me mad!! Thanks

I have the Latest K-Lite codec pack installed I think, but regardless of that I installed AC3 Filter. I have tried setting AC3 Filter to 3+2 and 3+2.1 but neither fix the problem with windows media player. I get surround sound with anything else, and it appears that the AVI's not working are using: Codec: 0x2000 (Dolby AC3) AC3. Home Codecs by code Audio Codecs by Audio Code FAST Multimedia AG DVM (Dolby AC3).
